4 Marine Park Avenue Rakino Island, Auckland City

This type of property is often sought but seldom found for those who demand location, setting, privacy and natural beauty all in one place. First time on the market in 26 years, enjoying all-day sun with wrap around decks, and a prime location directly above Sandy Bay, one of two of Rakino's favourite swimming beaches.

This 2-3 bedroom weatherboard bungalow offers a rare opportunity in one of the most sought after streets on Rakino. More spacious than most other dwellings on Rakino, this property features great indoor /outdoor flow with wide sea views out to Waiheke, Motutapu, Motuhie Islands and beyond. A fenced garden and a strong sense of seclusion are not often found, all while being only a few minutes walk to the island's wharf, community hall, Sandy Bay and Home Bay.

This 1920s Californian bungalow was relocated to Rakino in the early 90's and offers sunny, open-plan living with the spacious lounge leading out to the large deck, perfect for entertaining. It offers better value for your dollar than Waiheke and Great Barrier properties.

Peaceful, protected, and embraced by nature, the land has a rare, special energy that captures the true essence of old-school Rakino - secluded, sun-filled, and deeply connected to its environment with community events and safe swimming beaches with crystal clear water and good fishing off the rocks.

It features a recently installed top of the line solar system, large power backup with lithium batteries, new electric hot water cylinder and polished wooden floors. Newly painted weatherboards, aluminium windows, upgraded water tanks, water UV purifiers and filters. A renovated kitchen with a gas cooker and electric fridge - all the hard work is done. Come on over and enjoy.
